Somers Cultural Commission

NOTE: In March and April meetings will be held in the Town Hall Meeting Room. In May, the meetings will return to Piedmont Hall.

The Cultural Commission was established in 1993. Its mission is to promote cultural programs and activities in Somers.

The Commission sponsors varied and interesting events throughout the year. It receives a small stipend from the town, other funds are raised independently and by receiving donations from the people in town. Click here for details about the Cultural Commission.

The Cultural Commission sponsors the Mary Drayton Visual Arts Scholarship. The 2009 winner has been announced. Follow the link to the information page.
